Tallulah CBD and Juice Bar is making plans to open a second location in Bannerman Crossings.
Owner Ashley Guy said the grand opening is slated for May 1 and will feature DJ Demp. The new store will move into a space formerly occupied by Subway, which downsized its footprint that created a vacant space for Tallulah.
While the second store is smaller than the Market Street location that opened in 2019, Guy describes Bannerman Crossings as a “natural hang out spot,” an appealing trait as the expansion plans took shape.
“It has a neighborhood feel, so that’s a good fit for our store,” Guy said.
The new store’s product line will mirror the flagship store with a variety of CBD and Delta 8 THC, a legal psychoactive hemp product.
“We’re really lucky. We were one of the first ones to make a name for ourselves with Delta 8,” said Guy, adding the store was among the first in the country to carry it. “We’ve had it for eight months, and we’re getting a lot of traction with customers coming all the way from Georgia.”
